A serial entrepreneur, Jon served as president of Vilynx, an AI platform for media that was acquired by Apple in 2020. That followed a successful tenure as President of CNN/US, where he doubled profits and led the network to its highest-ever ratings and record number of awards by spurring industry-leading innovations including the Magic Touchscreen Wall, the integration of Twitter, and the first-ever Facebook livestream. Previously, Jon was co-founder/CEO of The FeedRoom, a pioneering streaming platform that introduced the first pre-roll video ads and launched the first DTC product, “CBS March Madness Online.” A winner of multiple Emmy and Peabody Awards, Jon created the first-ever network reality series, “Before Your Eyes.” As Executive VP of CBS News, he oversaw the return of “60 Minutes” to ratings and editorial dominance.
Jon was media consultant for HBO’s “Succession.” He serves on the board of Belden, Inc. (NYSE: BDC), a global data transport solutions provider.
